We all get in a reflective mood now now and then (its an age thing). Just lately we were visiting some good friends in a beautiful part of the UK. Friends that we have known a good number of years. It was a our last visit to them that brought it home to me that friends and relationships you build with those friend are very special. I think it was the fact that 30 years ago we did the things we loved with those friends and family. You have acquaintances in life but very few 'real' friends.
I formulated a song in my head whilst visiting a beach with those friends. It took my back to 30 years previous and I still enjoy being with them very much to this day.
This song is all about good strong friendships and to cherish them and not to take them for granted as we sometimes do.
It was the last song to be written for the album as I had put aside another track in favour of this one. It sounds a little retro in places, especially the backing vocals but that's ok as I'm being reflective!
True friendships stand the tests of time and what life throughs at you in-between and to help one another.
I'll mention no names but the people I mention in the song know who they are and I'm sure there will be a lot of you out there that can related to this situation.

With its debut album, this young band from Vienna follows the footsteps of honorable Austrian prog masters like "Matter Of Taste". The music on this concept album is not of the kind I'd call particularly innovative - it travels pretty much on well known roads paved by many others long ago. However, these youngsters do it in a highly pleasant way, skillfully avoiding the pitfalls of pseudo-progressive phrase rehashing most of the time - certainly more successfully so than several of their experienced grand paragons of prog.
